What we have installed, and in what kind of environment
Buyers of security and automation systems are usually comparing three or four suppliers who all claim the same things. The question that separates them is simple: have you done this before, on a site like mine, and will it still be working in three years?
This page sets out the kinds of projects MMB Technologies delivers, what a typical scope includes in each sector, and what we commit to after handover. We have been installing and supporting these systems since 2014, across Punjab and the rest of Pakistan.
Housing societies and gated communities
Typical scope: main-gate automatic road barriers on entry and exit lanes, long-range RFID or E-Tag readers for residents, a visitor lane with ticketing or QR passes, ANPR cameras, boundary electric fencing, CCTV coverage of gates and main roads, and a control room with recording and monitoring.
What makes these projects succeed: resident tags issued and registered properly at the start, a workable exception process for guests and deliveries, and a guard console that lets security open a lane manually while still logging who did it. Societies that skip the enrolment discipline end up with a barrier that stays open all day.
Typical additions later: a visitor management system and a resident mobile app.
Commercial plazas, malls and hospitals
Typical scope: a full parking management system with barcode ticketing at entry, payment and validation at exit, RFID for monthly users and staff, camera snapshots at both ends, parking guidance and signal lights, and shift-wise revenue reconciliation.
The problem it solves: manual slip parking loses money in ways nobody can prove — unrecorded entries, understated times, and cash that does not reach the office. Moving the fee calculation from the attendant to the software is what makes collections match occupancy.
Also commonly installed: CCTV across floors and stairwells, fire alarm systems, and automatic sliding doors at main entrances.
Factories and industrial units
Typical scope: turnstile gates at the staff entrance sized for shift-change throughput, biometric attendance feeding payroll, vehicle gates with barriers and weighbridge coordination, perimeter CCTV, and structured cabling to connect it all.
Environmental reality: dust, heat and worn fingertips defeat consumer-grade biometrics. On industrial sites we specify card or palm readers rather than fingerprint where conditions demand it, and we size the turnstile lanes from the actual shift headcount rather than a catalogue figure.
Frequent follow-on: HRIS and payroll software to remove manual attendance entry entirely.
Banks, government and high-security sites
Typical scope: road blockers, tyre killers and hydraulic bollards at vehicle entries, interlocked door systems for cash rooms, two-factor access control, CCTV with extended retention, and a documented audit trail for every access event.
What we pay particular attention to: drainage and power redundancy on hydraulic equipment, manual override that works in a power cut, and free-egress compliance so that security measures never conflict with fire escape.
Universities, schools and campuses
Typical scope: gate access control for students and staff, turnstiles at academic blocks, attendance devices, CCTV across common areas and hostels, campus fibre backbone between blocks, and RFID library management with security gates.
Common requirement: one credential that works at the gate, the library, the hostel and the attendance terminal, so students carry a single card.
Hotels and hospitality
Typical scope: RFID hotel locks with front-desk key issuance, hydraulic bollards protecting the forecourt, CCTV in public areas, staff access control for back-of-house, and automatic sliding doors at the lobby.
Warehouses, logistics and dry ports
Typical scope: vehicle access control with RFID and ANPR, boom barriers on truck lanes, tyre killers on one-way exits, perimeter intrusion detection, CCTV with number-plate capture at gates, and inventory software connected to gate movements.

Brands we supply and support
We are not tied to a single manufacturer, which means we specify what suits the site rather than what we hold in stock. Commonly supplied brands include Hikvision and Dahua for CCTV and ANPR, ZKTeco for access control and attendance, Centurion for gate automation and barriers, and Nemtek for electric fencing. Where a client has an existing standard, we work within it.
Asking us for references
We do not publish client names or site details without written permission, because many of our installations are at banks, government buildings and private communities where publishing security arrangements would be irresponsible.
What we will do is provide relevant references directly to a serious buyer. Tell us your sector and the system you are evaluating, and we will arrange for you to speak to a client operating something comparable, and where possible to visit a working site.
Frequently asked questions
Can we visit an existing installation before deciding?
In most sectors, yes. We arrange site visits where the client agrees. This is usually the fastest way to settle a buying decision, and we encourage it.
Do you handle the civil work as well?
Yes. Foundations, excavation, drainage, conduit and making good are part of our scope on barrier, blocker and bollard projects. Split responsibility between a supplier and a separate contractor is the most common cause of delay, so we keep it in one hand.
What warranty do you provide?
Warranty terms depend on the equipment and are stated in the quotation. Beyond the warranty period we offer annual maintenance contracts covering scheduled servicing, priority response and labour.
How quickly can you respond to a fault?
Response time is agreed in the maintenance contract. Within Lahore we generally attend the same or next working day, and we hold stock of the parts that fail most frequently.
Do you work outside Lahore?
Yes. We execute projects across Pakistan and supply dealers and contractors nationwide through our wholesale and dealer supply service.
Can you take over a system somebody else installed?
Yes. We survey the existing installation, report honestly on what is serviceable and what needs replacing, and then maintain it.
